According to the provisions of the complaints book and the norms of the Consumer Protection and Defense Code, the virtual complaints book may be used by consumers to present their complaints and claims. The filing of the complaint does not prevent pursuing other means of dispute resolution nor is it a requirement to file a complaint with INDECOPI.

The provider must respond to the complaint or grievance within no more than fifteen (15) business days, which is non-extendable.
